    Mamta Badkar

    US assistant managing editor

    Mamta Badkar is the US assistant managing editor of the Financial Times overseeing editorial expansion in the US and working on the FT's growth strategy for the region.

    Mamta was previously US breaking news editor and an editor on the main New York news desk. She joined the FT in 2014 as a breaking news reporter. Prior to that she was a markets reporter at Business Insider.
