Joe Biden (“Biden under mounting pressure to quit as doubts rise among supporters”, Report, July 4) should take a lesson from the great undefeated heavyweight boxing champion Rocky Marciano. Rocky was undefeated in 49 fights and his fans pushed for a 50th. Rocky said: “No. I’m not fit enough and I don’t want to blemish my success.”
So he didn’t and he retired unbeaten. Joe: take that advice.
